Michael Fung is a Partner at PwC where has worked for over 30 years specialising in business restructuring and turnaround.

For several years he has worked in the education sector advising TAFEs, government departments, private RTOs, and universities on strategic and financial viability, business cases, and general commercial matters. He has worked with most Victorian TAFEs and dual sector providers and attended several previous VTA Conferences as a sponsor and participant. He has also facilitated training sessions for TAFE boards, management teams, and developed and delivered financial and commercial skills training programs for a number of TAFE institutes.

As a restructuring and turnaround specialist, Michael has worked on a wide range of projects across a variety of industries that intersect with vocational education and training.  More recently these include a drinks manufacturer in Ballarat, a national outsourced IT workforce provider, and five years as the administrator of the Framlingham Aboriginal Trust near Warrnambool where skills training for indigenous community members was a key priority.

Michael spent several years as the Finance Director at Yarra Valley Grammar in Ringwood and has recently been elected to the Governance Board of PwC Australia for a 4-year term.
